Sarah Power was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on 29 June 1985 – her zodiac sign is Cancer, and she holds Canadian nationality. She’s an actress with 24 credits to her name, probably known best for her portrayal of Pawter Simms, one of the lead characters in the action adventure science fiction series “Killjoys”. It aired from 2015 to 2019, was created by Michelle Lovretta, and also starred Hannah John-Kamen and Aaron Ashmore. It follows the lives of three bounty hunters, who are travelling the universe in search of bad guys to catch; the series won one of the 30 awards for which it was nominated.

Early life and education

Sarah was raised in St. John’s by her parents who prefer to be left out of media, thus not a lot about them is known; they were very supportive of Sarah’s dream to become an actress, and drove her to all the auditions she wanted to attend. She hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, and is thus believed to be an only child.

Sarah grew up being interested in dancing, and was four years old when she began taking dance lessons. In 1999 aged 14, her parents enrolled her at a school of the arts, at which Sarah practiced acting, and in 2002 she launched her acting career with her portrayal of Fanny in two episodes of the drama mini-series “Random Passage”. Following this, she moved to Toronto and began attending Ryerson University’s Theatre School, from which she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre in 2007.

In 2007, Sarah was cast to play Bubbly Girl in the episode “From Here to Eternity” of the drama “The Best Years”, and in 2009, she portrayed Mina Delia Croce in the episode “Some Kinda Love” of the crime fantasy drama “The Listener”.

The Genetic Opera”, written by four people, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, and which starred Paul Sorvino, Anthony Head and Alexa PenaVega. In 2008 as well, Sarah appeared in the mystery horror comedy “Saw V”.
